About Kierra
Kierra grew up in Kelowna, BC and has found her passions in health/wellness and understanding how massage therapy affects the human body. She enrolled and graduated from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in August 2017. While studying, she wrote and published a research paper titled Evaluating the impact of Swedish Massage on the Shoulder Girdle and C4-T1 Nerve Roots Post Injection Therapy. It received international attention at the International Massage Therapy Research Conference. She is registered with the College of Complementary Health Professionals BC and the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of BC.
Kierra finds great joy in creating a welcoming space that helps her patients unwind from the world around them. She utilizes various techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques and maya abdominal massage® techniques to help you reach your health and wellness goals. Her professional interests are in chronic pain, stress reduction, digestive health, reproductive health, prenatal/postpartum and infant massage.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Kierra either at the curling rink or spending time with her family and getting all the new baby snuggles that she can.
