Quentin Trollip
Quentin was born and grew up in South Africa, where he graduated in Physiotherapy in 2000. After graduating he practiced as a Physio in the South Africa Military, and also practiced in England for two years, prior to immigrating to Kelowna, in 2006. Quentin enjoys a wide range of conditions in the outpatient practice; sports- injuries, pre and post surgical rehabilitation, geriatric care and weekend warrior injuries, which he can relate very well to. When not working Quentin enjoys the outdoors, especially rock climbing. He is an avid sports fanatic and has also published books on the art of origami.
Hayley Brown
Hayley immigrated to Canada with her Aussie pooches from Australia. She has a passion for connecting with people and helping them to move.
Hayley Brown graduated with distinction from Bond with the Clinic Excellence award. Hayley has been practicing Physiotherapy since 2017 and has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2022.
A diligent, caring, and personable physiotherapist. Hayley finds communication and understanding to be an essential part of treatment. She will explain why you may be experiencing certain symptoms and how treatment will progress to assist in resolution. Hayley provides assessment and treatment for a variety of conditions including BPPV type of vertigo, orthopedic, musculoskeletal, acute and chronic sports injuries, and physiotherapy to support healthy aging. She has a special interest conditions involving the upper limb. Her treatment techniques include soft-tissue release, cupping, dry needling, and manual therapy. She offers prescription of individualised, progressive exercise plans for long-term management. Movement is medicine, and Hayley loves to help her clients move!
She is also a Returned Servicewoman and Navy Veteran of the Second Gulf War (Iraq War). She has served 18 years in both permanent Australian naval and naval reserve positions.
Anthony Malbrecht
Anthony has been working as a Physiotherapist in Kelowna since 2022. He earned a Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Western University.
At OHP, Anthony is working with Hayley Brown to pursue his accreditation as a Certified Hand Therapist. Anthony has already completed continuing education in the following areas: ● Dry needling (IMS) ● Management of acute and chronic concussion ● Vestibular/vertigo disorders ● Upper/Lower Extremity Myofascial Release ● Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Manual Therapy Anthony utilizes these advanced techniques, combined with assessment and exercise prescription, to improve neuro-muscular function and effectively reduce pain.
This approach allows for comfortable and targeted exercise therapy, empowering individuals to return to work, sport, and recreational activities. Anthony has worked as an athletic trainer with individuals competing in the NBA, NCAA Division I basketball, the Canadian Hockey League, U Sports Varsity Hockey, and various local sports leagues. His primary focus and passion is in helping clients enhance their movement and overall well-being in both recreational and workplace environments.
Originally from London, Ontario, Anthony is making the most of everything the Okanagan has to offer. In his spare time, you can find him on the golf course, hiking, or training for his next triathlon or marathon.
